We always start here! If we can diagnosis the problem over the phone its the best case scenario. Saving you time and keeping one more car off the road!
Through the call we will provide you with the possible solutions and a reasonable plumbing bid cost range
We will need to be able to see the issue so if it is too dark, too tight, or in a wall this option wont work and you don't pay for it!
Then for your convenience we put you in contact with our one or more of trusted local plumber referral partners to fix the necessary problem.

In Person Visit
Seeing a problem in person generally provides the best diagnosis.
If we have to we will schedule a time to come out and inspect the problem. We show up when we say will not in some 4 hour time period.
Most visits take under 30 minutes.
During that visit we will offer the potential solutions to your problem and a reasonable plumbing bid cost range

I know you're a big Utah football fan, but does the NBA draft move the needle for you at all? You know, after last season, I'd just like to get more than 20 wins. Fair enough. It's tough, man. It's tough. Like a lot of Jazz fans waiting for something that gives them hope. That's right. That's what I'm doing. Yeah. We've had really good teams for a long time. So we'll see what they do tonight. Alright, Gavin, here's where I want to start: Honest Second Opinion Plumbing. Give me the origin story. Why did you decide to do this? Absolutely. So, it all started eight years ago, Spence. I was sitting in my house wintertime and the furnace turned off, and I wasn't sure why it would turn off, turn on, wasn't working well. And so I called a really well-known HVAC company in Utah. They came out, they looked at it and the guy spent three and a half hours in my home selling me on why I needed a completely brand new HVAC system, a new furnace. You know, it's only going to be $5,000, no, yeah, only $5,000 and we'll get your brand new one. You know, this one's way too old. And so after three and a half hours, I was just texting my wife and I was like, please come save me. Like, get me out of this. Like, I want him gone out of our house, and then he finally left. I looked on just for a local handyman, called one, he came over, he checked out the furnace, and he looked at the flame sensor rod in there. He cleaned it with some steel wool, put it back in and the furnace worked for another eight years. And so it's like, he charged me 50 bucks and then left. It took all but 20 minutes and that's when I realized that, you know, when I've got a problem in my home, there's two big issues. One, I want to make sure I'm finding the right person, right? Like, it took me how long to find the HVAC company? I was googling, trying to find somebody looking at reviews, it just, it's a pain. And I, you know, like, I'm already upset that my furnace isn't working and so I don't want to spend the time to go and do that. And then the second thing is I don't want to be taken to the cleaners. You know, I don't want somebody selling me a whole new system because I don't know HVAC. Mm-hmm. And so it's like, I don't need somebody selling me a whole new system when all I needed was to clean the flame rod sensor. And so that's what we're doing with your plumbing issues. We're going to put you in contact with trusted referral partners, somebody that can fix your problem without you having to spend hours or days trying to coordinate with them to get them to your house. And then we're also going to come and help diagnose the problem and give you an idea of what it's like. See, I love this because I think we all can relate to a scenario where we're just not educated about something that is wrong with our car or something that is wrong with our house or something that is wrong with our teeth, right? Whatever it is. We just don't want to be sold a bill of goods, just be honest and quote me the right price and I'm happy to pay that, but don't upsell me. And it sounds like you've kind of landed in this lane where yes, you're running a business, but you also want to help people avoid pitfalls that we all tend to fall in. Is that fair to say? Exactly. And so that's when we were, when I was debating about starting this company, you know, and this is a new company, it's only a few months old, but, you know, we thought about, well, let's perform the service. But the issue became is, well, how can we make sure that we're not using our own self interest when we're quoting things out, you know, like, even if I can say honest, if I start hiring other people within my company, are they going to be honest? Because, you know, these trades workers, they're great. But the more you pay, the more they get paid. So they're incentivized to charge you more. Like that's, that's what it boils down to. That's when I decided, you know what, instead of fixing the problem, we're going to go ahead and diagnose the problem, be able to give you the exact same advice we'd give our own mothers, without any sort of alter your motives. And then we'll put you in contact with people that we trust and we are refreshing this list constantly. If we trust somebody, but then we start hearing some negative feedback, we take them off our list, you know, and so we give people a chance to prove their trustworthiness.
